I think it uses whatever teams are called in the single player game files.

I know I changed Pittsburgh to the Punks and the Raftsmen to the Titans. Punks and Titans are what it showed when I start multiplayer. FWIW the Mules are the Cows when I go thru and rename the real NFL teams. Baltimore Shitbirds, Jacksonville Tarpkitties, Houston Cows, Indianapolis Ponies, San Diego Bolts ect..

Matt, the initial upload of my Imperial.25Q file FAILS, I think that's the key to all my issues. Do you have a Imperial.25Q file in the game files on your side?

There is no Imperial.25Q on the server at the moment.

Also, a couple things I notice on the server ...

1) Salt Lake City has a 0 size file. I'm guessing it's corrupt. You might want to redo it. I had that happen in a couple leagues. That's why I added the file size to the tracker. So it would raise a red flag.

2) Fresno's file isn't in the right folder. I think it's because it's named imperial.008. This stuff is case-sensitive. You should start your career with the name "Imperial". If you go through and rename everything on your PC, you should be ok. It may be easier to restart the career though.

the export is 0 size no matter I do, but that's because the export fails with an error code (email to support to get the meaning of my codes).

That Q file is what is supposed to be sent back to the host server when you create your career, I take it, as I get a note about the export failing. I suspect what we've got to do here is get my Q file on the server...assuming that see Q files for others(???)

We don't really need your Q file. It's mainly to test ftp in existing leagues. It's used in creating a new league to tell what teams are human.

We need your Imperial.025.

still its curious why my client tries to send that file to host -- guess it's a handshake or something. Either way, exporting is broken for me and the upload site is sweet workaround. Thx again Hooper.

Made the change and get errors now....blah. Will use the uploader.

Reinstalled everything, it works. Capital letters suck, shouldn't be used for files and folders.

Ok. I've scrubbed everything and begun the whole process again.
Followed steps 1 thru 8 and still getting the same error after step 8.
I don't get the chance to do step 9.

On the team name chart my team are down as Wichita Outlaws.
Should be London Monarchs....Is that the issue?

the problem with using the export uploader is that it's no longer automated for either the simmer or the player.
hopefully we can figure out whats wrong and fix it.
