  • LT Troy Stickney

LT Troy Stickney - Best LT in the business; best offensive lineman, actually, and young. He's in a contract year, and I foresee cap issues in the future, so I'll move him if I get the right offer.

Wow!! If I had a thin roster I'd make a move and build a team around Stickney...

or maybe I'd just wait and go another 5 years with < 7 wins and post about how great players never leave teams.

    Rare opportunity for someone here!!

Well yea, I have cap issues NOW, but trading Wilson isn't even on my radar. He's the core of your team, but Jeffs a good owner, he must have a plan.

I see why he is getting rid of him. He is not the best in the business. Look at his stats, not really impressive.

            2008 NC Champions
Demons Ring of Honor-QB Will Irby (HOF), CB Neal "The Real Deal" Ferguson, RB Charles Bell, K Paul Pickett, FS Robert Poole, RG Leonard Becker, TE Brenden Fields, C Seth Stender, LB Adam Kollars (HOF), LB Louis McCarthy (HOF), C James Robinson (HOF), RB Carlton Dabrowa (HOF)
            Demons Retired Numbers- #11 (QB Will Irby-HOF), #55 (C James Robinson-HOF), #20 (RB Carlton Dabrowa-HOF), #56 (LB Louis McCarthy-HOF), #57 (LB Adam Kollars-HOF)

Well stats are a bit misleading.........it's not like the Seals are a power running team haha.

Not if you think about it. This team passes downfield, so the level of pass protection he has given is outstanding, considering how long he has to hold those blocks. For an answer the the run blocking (20+ KRBs is very solid, though), look no further than the man blocking next to him and the RG, as well. When you have a stud all by himself on the line, that's when you see obscene stats. He has too many solid players with him.

As for why I might trade him, it's purely cap related. I have a lot of guys asking for a lot of money, so I'm testing the waters with the one who will bring back the most. I have a lot of needs on defense, and this team isn't getting any younger. I'm certainly not rebuilding, but I need to shift some resources.

I don't blame you. He is probably asking for a ton of money.
