to the 3 teams that have PM'd me offers, i'm holding out waiting to see what else comes in. as we get closer to draft-time i'll have a better idea what we have to work with. that is, of course, you would like to sweeten the pot a little more. i listen to all offers.

well, it looks like the mega 3-way deal is off for now or is at least on hold, which leaves a small window of opportunity for on of the 3 teams who expressed interest in this pick to make a move. even if you're not one of the 3 teams if you're interested why not see what it'd take to land it.

bidding looks to be heating up, two teams are in the running. with all this demand for the 1.1 i'm starting to think i may need to reexamine if giving up a franchise stud QB is worth it. I HATE THESE TOUGH DECISIONS.

Yes, this is a very volatile year. Whoever gets that #1 pick is either going to win or lose big I think. One way or the other the final trade will probably have enough draft picks to make an even trade in the end unlikely. Will be a good one to look back on in 6-7 seasons.

winning big or losing big is what this GM game is all about. if you are too scared of that then pretend football GMing is not your thing.

Well I am pretty sure I am out of the running now. I reworked the deal with madison to get 1.9 within the league rules and now HA has backed out asking for more advertiseing that Georgia has offered him 4 1st rounders this year. Tells me now the trade he had already accepted is no longer good enough that I need to pay more. I refused so looks like just him and Georgia are going to talk. Either way I tried. Oh quick edit on that he changed the georgia ad to 3 1sts and a 4th and a nobody guard. he just wants to get more and more and more so he can say how good of a deal he got for his pick. I dont blame him but then again I dont like the shadey business tactics. Its all yours Georgia. Dont let him tell you im beefing up my offer your the only person who wants that pick now so play hardball.

a 68 overall rated guard is hardly a "nobody guard". this is all for naught. i'm keeping the pick. the price for 1.1 has just went up now due to my frustration. if anyone wants it the price is hefty. if you think the price is high, ask Portland if they'd trade you Caro. ask Lansing if Hamilton is available. when they tell you "no" consider that's for 9th year, 10th year vets. and then consider that there's a stud QB in the draft who will be as good or possibly better than either and that he'll be in the IFL for the next 12-15 years. and then you'll understand why i'm not quick to just give it away for what someone else may think is a fair deal.

rule of thumb - if the other person thinks they're getting a fair deal then you aren't asking for enough. aquiring a stud QB of Schwartz's nature should be a mind-racking decision: do i hold on to a bunch of mid-first round picks and above average players, or do i give that all up for someone who could be the most valuable player in the league? that's the question. it's not about "i got a bunch of stuff i'd like to give up that should compensate HA." its not about what you want. it's what i want. i hold the pick. give me a reason to walk away from Schwartz.

                              oh please just stop dude.

I offered you the same exact trade you already accepted less then 24 hours ago and you turned it down cause you wanted to rape me more. Hope he has a career ending injury his rookie season just because of karma. Your shadey business tactics make me not want to have any future negotiations between our 2 organizations.
