QB - Bernard Rockwell: Great read defense, sack avoidance, and long passes. Good in almost every other area. IMO he's been the league's best back-up but is now expendable as I'm liking the rookie. Looking for a solid CB, 3rd round pick, or best offer.

WR - Ross Daniels: Big play receiver and KR/PR demanding trade. I don't really want to move him but I will to get one of my needs below or a WR of similar value.

Brenton Palmieri was a perfect fit in my defense. A great, great loss.

In the big picture what's most frustrating is that the Phantoms have had CB as top priority to draft for about 3 years now and have never been in a position to take one without severely reaching for one that'll prob bust anyway. Jave has positioned himself perfectly with this years draft choices.

That was the defining reason for picking them up. Every year CB's are the hardest position to acquire in the draft. Even average CB's are scooped up early and often, even if it means drafting them much higher then their value would suggest. And how many years are you going to have 2 of the top 4 picks in the draft? While D-line has always been a huge priority with me, and in my opinion a higher need then CB's, you have to pick those players if they are sitting there!

Bump - There's quite a shake-up going on in the IFL right now. Don't you rookies make the mistake of getting late-season with no QB because of unexpected injury, your 2nd most important position is backup QB - get Rockwell now for the recently slashed price of a 4th round pick.


In the Daniels dept. - Does your offense suck right now? Then your "regular" ain't working! Strike hard with Daniels and score at least sometime to make it competitive! (89 yard KR TD this past week! Could you have used those 7 pts?). Looking for a boring route running WR because Stanfield can make up for his shortcomings. Secondary to that is route running and avoid drops.

For anyone not looking for themselves Daniels has a "100" in Big Play Receiving and a "90" in getting downfield. He simply doesn't fit in my offense right now, though he was perfect when I drafted him and had the IFL record for offensive production.
