There is absolutely no reason for me to go out and panic and make some blockbuster trade at this point. Why would I? I didn't know that it was illegal to make trades once (or even after) free agency started. Fuck, what happened to my draft picks as well?

I've got all of my starters back except one o-linemen. My cohesion will go up. Yours? It will drop down below sea level.

they had what was largely known as one of the easiest schedules in the league last year. if he thinks he can replicate that again and not add anyone to his roster (with that secondary of his) then 2010 will be an interesting season in the AC West. i mean, last year's champs have a trade block, for crying out loud. he chimes in with his smarmy posts and isn't even doing anything for his team.

whatever I could've gotten. i just couldn't afford him, and would've taken a 7th rnd pick. Better than nothing.

As I said, I had every intention to keep the guy. I just couldn't believe the outragous salary request to me. Once he hit FA, he was asking for substantially less money.
