Oh, those terms don't exactly blow me out of the water. It's like taking on a backup who's 9 years older for a 4th and a 5th, since those picks are so into the future.

he knows he's done fucked up. besides, outside of his two CBs i'm either not interested in any of his other players or i already have similar talent at the positions he has that i do like. shoulda pounced on my offer.

my DT Lynn Phifer had the same injury in 2004. when he returned in 2005 his ratings did not drop, he has not missed a game since the injury, and in that time hes has been argulably the best DT in the league.

if the above happened to terrell AND i traded him i would be getting railed for giving away a franchise quarterback for a career backup and two picks 3 years away (neither of which were even first rounders).

it was a gamble. not a bad one if you ask me.

You can't let yourself worry about what others are going to say about a trade. After all, its not like Nelson hasn't been playing well for you.

I had Martin comeback from a similar injury to what Cleeland has, but I am terrified about what is going to happen to Cleeland's ratings. I am hoping that if he has any ratings hit it is only 20 points because he will still be an above average LB, just not the beast he could have been.

Phifer had ACL damage to the knee, but he didn't have surgery like Terrell did.
