The 3rd overall may be had for the right price. I would be interested in moving down a bit. It will take a good offer because the 3rd guy off the board is a franchise caliber player. The fall off to the 4th guy is a good ways.

Wouldnt expect any comment other than that from you. There is a drop off in grading and it comes after the 3rd pick.Originally posted by roadrashWhich draft class are you looking at. . Re: Draft Pick 1-3
Not sure if you are just trying to sell the #3 pick or what, but you can't be that serious about this. Unless you are talking about the 'adjusted' grade, then yes it goes from 7.3 to 6.6. But really, that doesn't mean squat. The adjusted grade takes into effect crap that has nothing to do with ratings, like how valueable people think their position is.Originally posted by dberner30Wouldnt expect any comment other than that from you. If you want to talk straight grade. our future rating, there is no drop off.My banner is bigger and prettier and cooler then yours. I choose not to show it so your feelings do not get hurt.

oops.Originally posted by MattCringer, you're ruining dberner's sales pitch
Well, I will support his sale's pitch if he supports mine that there is a big drop off from pick 3-30 to pick 4-1, and guys should be willing to give me a first rounder next year for it.

Sold. There is a huge drop there. One punter over another is important at that critical juncture.Originally posted by Cringeroops.Originally posted by MattCringer, you're ruining dberner's sales pitch

I guess my point is that depending on what positions you are looking at the dropoff happens. And yes I was looking at the adjusted grading which can be a little quirky. As I understand it the adjusted grade reflects position value etc. In other words a high grade RB is worth a lot more than a high grade Punter even if they grade out on straight grade equally. The #3 overall is always a valuable slot. I will move down if the offer is good. If not I will stay home and take the best player on the board. That means dont look at my roster and gamble I wont take a certain position because I might. Value over need when you are 3rd overall.

Hope the remote location is suiting you well. I still like the talent at 3 a lot better than what you see between 4 and 10. Moving up across the cut line would benefit some teams in that band with a very narrow need.

very pleasant for the short term. the chance of crappy cold winds has dropped significantly and the crappy hot winds wont be here for a couple months. this is the good time of year.Originally posted by roadrashIt's hot here, endless beach without the water. . . how are the winds of Kansas?Originally posted by dberner30darn pig farmerOriginally posted by roadrashThat was my intent, Glad Cring stepped up to help me.Originally posted by MattCringer, you're ruining dberner's sales pitchOriginally posted by CringerNot sure if you are just trying to sell the #3 pick or what, but you can't be that serious about this.
