Keep in mind that thus far Sparkman's dropped the ball once every 30 carries. The Bulldogs had success turning around Jamison's fumble-itus. If they can do the same here they've got a great talent. If his drops continue then two 1sts and an up and coming MLB is a high price to pay for a liability.

I agree with VAN though: It's nice to see some heavy action to kick-off the off-season. And with Travis Kennedy coming into his own this season Newark is already back with some offensive firepower to offset the loss of Burger.

we need to turn the bus around.
I was really hoping to get 2 of the 3 positions filled (QB, RB, or WR) in last years draft, but there wasn't really the talent there. I was hoping for something with the #2 overall, but the only real impact player was the WR that TEX took. I was hoping to Kennedy later in the 1st rnd.

all in all, i ended up trading with VAN for pay forward my draft pick. that pick was used to bring in sparkman.

I now have my QB, RB, TE. Still need a young WR.

Our whole team fumbled a lot. I think that has to do a lot with us being a team of screwups rather than Sparkman.

BTW, I wanted Brock in the draft and I am happy to have him here. He has a nice skill set for a LB and appears to be a creeper. We now have 5 picks in the 1st round and will definitely be a big player in this draft.

Wow, I was thinking I'd see two higher 1st rounders for him. Not a bad pickup for NWK
