There is no doubt this is a good deal for DG, but I'm hoping it will also end up being a good deal for Wichita.

            Time will tell I guess.

He had a great season in Dakota last year and hasn't yet had a bad one, though obviously extremely early.

100 endurance is sick and exactly what you want in a RB. I was also looking at Graham in the draft and have been following him since. I think he's a player who will always play above his OVR and another good lesson to not take OVR seriously at all.

Yeah I really liked him but hell if someone comes in and offers you a first rounder for him you arent gonna snap that up? lol got to.

It was definitely the right move for Dakota. That in itself doesn't mean it was the wrong move for Wichita though.

How much production will it take for it to be a worthwhile trade for the Outlaws? Graham has the ability to get to that area. And let's not forget that he protects the quarterback when not rushing and knows where the marker is on 3rd down catches.

I'm not saying it was. Told you I thought the guy was talented and like him a lot. Looking back on this set of trades I wanted to try and get a 1st for boyd and if I was gonna sell graham I probably woulda put a 2nd round price tag on him. So in these 2 trades I got the 1st and 2nd I woulda looked for for these 2 players and I guess the 4th and the 2 backup LBs were gravy.

                            Exactly.
Trades don't have to be about which team stiffed the other.
If Graham works out, Wichita will have benefited just as Dakota have by selling at a nice price.
I'm fully aware this is a gamble on my part.

Also, although DG got a good price, he'd be the first to admit it wasn't down to any awesome negotiation abilities.
He took the price I offered out of the blue.
Yes he snapped my arm off but I'm not convinced he'd have accepted one of my 2nds either.

He's happy he sold Graham and Boyd for a 1st and 2nd (plus a small helping of gravy), whilst I'm happy to get Boyd and Graham for the same overall price.

Bottom line is if Graham succeeds, I'd do this trade every time.
If he fails, I gambled and lost.....thats life.

Not sure I would have offered a 1st for him... but then I got hammered for the trade that resulted in me adding two top draw CB's in Boyd and Heath..
If Graham ensures the passing game works and he gains 1200+ yards on the ground then it is good business... especially if it results in the playoffs...
If it pays off the picks are late and the draft is a lottery with busts out their waiting for you.. If the gamble fails then the Outlaws will try something else to make their team a playoff one.. you don't get fired in this league...
