Strange deal. Even if you use one of the 1's this year on a QB you're looking at 2024 before you can realistically contend. *AND* you still have a gaping hole at WR.

Would've made more sense to move up from 1.15 (possibly selling off a defensive piece) to land a weapon for the Bazooka.

Just my $0.02 Good luck to both teams

Dude, I have so many holes. I know you should never trade a QB with those kinds of bars, but I'm tired of plowing through the mud.

Personally I think it's a win win for both teams... I wasn't overwhelmed with the draft class, I have a darn fine o line right now, and I am NOT going to draft a tackle in the first round with this team... I don't have a lot of cap space, and Bazooka fits my cap situation AND my offensive philosophy much better than the Magician does..

And Sui has the cap space to sign the draft picks and develop them. He's tired of plowing through the mud, I'm still disappointed in Debussy's injury...I think that injury knocked us back a few seasons.. Bazooka puts us back to a respectable position...

Win win for both teams.. and besides...why does every trade have to fit a certain mold? Variety is the spice of life...

Of course the drawback is that I'm horrible at drafting, so.........

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled you traded him, but I think you undervalue your roster.

On the flip side, you did get a ton in return for him, and if you suck this year, you're looking at a very high 1st rounder next year in addition to 4 other first rounders over the next 2 drafts (unless you get more).

If you draft well, you could be loaded with talent by 2023 or so.

A franchise QB should never be traded. Matadors into the post-season with this move.

Be interesting to see if the Cards can be the first team in 2K7 to have success on the back of defense and a running game.

Hey..I made it to the vNFL's Super Bowl doing just that.. an extreme running game, a fifty/fifty qb who read defenses well, and a killer defense...

lost the dam bowl in a close game, but shoot...

do we fit in that category?
or our passing offense is effective enough to put us outside that box

Your passing game is usually best in the IFL, on a per attempt basis.
