DG is making a classic ol' school Jave mistake. Loading up on top 5 draft picks year after year after year. In 4 years when these guys are up for a new contract, your gonna lose a bunch of em cause they will all want 20 million a year and your gonna have to trade em away.
Take a look at how Jester works the draft. Great example of the way to do it.
I wanted to use 1.5, when I had it, on OL or DB. I think I would have ended up with G Uusatalo. I really wanted a T or CB, though. I'm not sure Codeke run blocks well enough for a top 5 OL. Just my opinion. The G is gonna be great but you can get very good-good G's quite a bit later. I really wanted Negrete. Maybe he would've dropped to me. I wasn't shopping but when the chance to move up presented itself I took it and immediately began asking myself if I could leave the DE on the board. Not sure I know the answer to that. I like the BPA strategy in the first round and we're not 1 player away. I jumped on DG's offer.
I don't understand why Vito didn't take it. Assuming it was offered to him as well.

even with these 2 big signings ill have about 30-35 mil in cap room next year with about 40 players signed (this is before I capologist reneg deals to free up more cap if thats what I need to do). Finances aren't a worry for me yet. I'll let you know what though. I will be happy when they are because that will mean I have a lot of talented players on the roster who want to see the kwan.

Don't get me wrong DG, I'm no begrudging you for improving your team, but ask anyone who was here for the first 5 seasons. When I drafted in the initial allocation draft, I had a team of....jesus, must have been 15 players who were rated 22/84. Remember, this was FOF 2004 when things weren't as polished. Jeff tried to warn me about a hundred times, "dude, your never going to be able to afford all of those guys", but I wouldn't listen.
I'm just saying, don't make the same mistake I did. Take less guys in the top 5/10 of the draft, and alot more 2nd/3rd rounders. That's where you build a champion.
If you want to lecture someone about cap problems, talk to Little Rock... He's gonna have a tough time paying for the 1.1 and 2.1 picks he got from DG for the next 2 years

Has my team ever had a #1 overall pick ever in the history of the league?
1. Dakota hasn't had a winning record since a 9-7 year in 2011
2. Dakota has the 3rd worst roster strength in the league
3. They're gonna be starting a rookie QB.
4. They have only 3rd or later rounders to bring new talent to the team.
It's a pretty safe bet that those picks you gave away are worth more than double what you got for them.

Damn DG, there's is absolutely no way this (9/14) pick will outshine that 18/53 QB you took at 1.2. I had it all in my hands and I blew it
At least I got a 31/81 OT out of the deal.
How could I have been so stupid???!!!!
at 9/14 the only thing to hope for is him adding points in training camp...
I'm sick

I hope Myers is the man for you. He might be like LOU's QB Sullivan and boom late in his career despite of himself but my scout didn't like him...looks like your fanbase agrees with my scout (he's got a whooping '3')
