If Wheeler's the 60's rated OLB I'm picturing from quasi-memory then this trade seems fair to me. I think OLB might be the most polar of positions: some people think they're a premium and others think they're an afterthought.

I won with a 51 rated SLB and a 35 rated WLB. Mind you this is this years numbers, but they werent much better last season.

I see them as somewhere in the middle......but there are not a lot of quality LB's out there. I made the trade in hopes this will help my defense out. We've been getting gashed this year.

In my view Wheeler's probably worth a little more, maybe top end 3rd rd value, but Newark didn't underpay by a whole lot considering he's a 9th yr OLB on the downward curve.

If there's no interest in a guy, then there's no interest I guess.

I think my success so far this year has been all about Stanfield and in spite of my defense....which is currently ranked 26th! Since I switched to a 4-3 Wheeler hasn't been getting much playing time - he's usually on the bench in the nickel and dime (I know, maybe that's partly why my defense has been so poor ). It just seems to be that when I had a top 5 defense two years ago it didn't translate into wins - so now I'm trying to put more emphasis on the offense, FWIW.
