good trade for Oak, I was interested in featuring Smith as #1 in passing situations. Probably would of dangled Rhinehart out there but didnt want to pull the trigger.

This is a win for Texas in my opinion. My reason why I feel that way is that Watt is a type of receiver who cant carry a team. He needs the single coverage or 2nd CB covering him. While Jarvis gets the double coverage or top CB, Watt goes off.

I'll chime in here with my thoughts on this subject. I've been trying to put another good WR opposite Watt ever since Gomez retired but the opportunity hasn't presented itself. I agree with Tarc for the most part. I dont think any one WR can carry a team. Tulsa probably wouldn't have won this many games without Albriktsen or Andrews. Same as Texas/Watt/Gomez in our 2012 run. Watt and/or Jarvis is in for a career year I think.(I hope)

If Oakland gets a quality player for 10+ seasons with the 2nd rounder this trade goes a long way towards setting up the Devil Dogs for the near future.

Very true. I think his running game is going to be good for years. I could have probably done the same deal FB Forbes but I dont think Smith is near as durable. 9 injuries in 4 seasons. Two trips to IR also. If he can stay healthy its a good deal.
