Watch me and DG sit at the same table drunk someday and not even know who the other is.

Well last october? Mohegan opened their brand new poker room. My cousin deals over there. Until then they had that touch screen poker. Its the same deal but no chips or cards you sit with 8 other people and play at a touch screen. it was weird i played a 60 dollar sit n go on one finished first for 350 bucks so i guess my only expirence with them was a good one. I never knew of foxwoods not having a poker room. They have the WPT poker room. Over the last couple years they have had some big events from the WPT there with the pros n such.

Playing limit you usually get alot of people in for 2-4 dollars preflop so id guess your avg pot is about 35 or so. Depends how loose the table plays. Went there and played a few hours and won 200 bucks my last time there thats with losing a huge pot to my cousin A high flush over Q high flush and there was another guy in for all the 4 + 4 + 4 raises going on so im guessing he had some kind of flush aswell.

Vanguard is actually a blast, but I can't recommend it because of the low LOW subs. The game however is a blast. AWSOME graphics, tons of quests, fun characters, great community. You do need a pretty decent computer to run it. I am currently running a E8400 with 4 gigs of ram, a 1 terabyte WD HD, and a 800GTS vid card. I get decent, not great, but decent FPS. Averaging around 60-100.

from what I hear you only have XP as an OS . . . . . Meaning you have 3 gigs of ram. XP has a memory cap of 3 gigs . Could always get Vista 64 and use i dunno maybe 8 gigs?

vista does blow but when my friend called me up and said he wanted me to build him a computer for gameing it was really the choice at the time. If you want to game on some games that really stress the system it is just a situation where you gotta get vista 64 and tough it out till windows 7 comes out.

                      8 gigs of ram

                      1 gig ATI vid card

the best processor AMD had out Quad core phenom.

Tho looking back alot of tests worked out better for intel proccesors oddly AMD got higher FPS on the games plus already fit the mobo I had picked out.

Very sweet machine my current computer I have now is old struggles to run some of the source engine games I like to mess with. Talkin 20-30 FPS but this machine ran those same games at 200 fps 170 in some of the more stressful enviroments.

I have to disagree with ya here...AMD is so far behind now it's now even funny. Until my mobo went tits up I was running a FX-55 and LOVED it. I have been a AMD fan since the beginning of time, but the fact is, Intel is kicking their ass so hard right now it's sick. Anyone who goes AMD is going to regret it. And AMD is so far behind....I seriously doubt the future of the company.

I hope they can make a comeback, I have a soft spot in my heart for em, but until they can bounce back...get Intel.

um the Intel Quadcore and AMD Quadcore bench marked in the same ball park so similar quality. AMD had higher FPS in games while Intel performed a bit better in every other function. But in no way was Intel blowing AMD away sorry.

                          AMD Phenom II X4 940 Core Processor HDZ940XCGIBOX - 3.00GHz, 6MB Cache, 1800MHz (3600 MT/s)

"AMD have not had a very good 2008, as they lost more ground to rival Intel, but AMD hope that with the arrival of their Phenom II, it will help them take the fight back to their rival. The new CPU has been launched to do battle with Intel’s Core i7 processor, so how does it perform in an all out fight.

AMD are using the 45nm manufacturing technology, as this will increase clock speeds of the Phenom II, as well as reduce power consumption and in turn reduce heat. This new processor from AMD outperforms the Phenom processor by at least 15 percent. "

is almost as good as the Intel i7 and is about 100 dollars cheaper.

I mean intel has another processor out right now that probably does alot better then the phenom . . . if you want to spend 1100 dollars on a processor. . . I will take the Phenom at 200 dollars because it was shown to report better FPS in all games across the board vs the intel i7 even tho it was edged in about everything else. I'm not gonna spend an extra 100 dollars for an intel processor that runs MS office faster.

So again if youve been living in a cave for a year or 2 I could understand how you would think Intel is Way ahead. But in reality they are very close nowadays and when they are close and one is considerably cheaper you tell me which one you buy. Oh keep in mind your a gamer and AMD's phenom scored better in all FPS tests in PC games.

                            moral of the story

The 200 dollar AMD processor does better benches in gameing then the 300 dollar intel i7.

If you have 1100 to burn on a processor then I would go intel because they just recently put out an 1100 dollar processor that prob blows the phenom ii and the i7 away. but if your compareing the 2 affordable processors that came out around the same time AMD for 100 bucks cheaper and the higher FPS in my games FTW.

I dunno why you would redo your PC with a bunch of inferior stuff anyways. dual core etc. hope your ready to drop some loot on a major upgrade/complete over haul when windows 7 comes out.

btw so we all knew XP had that 3 gig cap on ram. which would make your 4 gigs only 3. That was until I read what you bought. 2 sticks at 2 gigs a piece. So I did some research and talked to a friend of mine who is a PC tech and it cant read half a stick of ram its the whole stick or nothing. So your computer recognizes 2 gigs. Which is probably why your not getting Memory errors every hour or so on your computer for having 4x1 gigs plugged into the Mobo.

                              DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5508 32bit Unicode

Actually it is able to use 3, not 2. And I have never had a single memory error since I rebuilt it a month ago.
And the E8400 is only $164 dollars and outperforms all but the top end AMD's. That's a pretty good price/performance ratio if ya ask me.
