i am DEEPLY saddened to trade one of my favorite Heroes - RB Schultz. i was considering not doing this trade over him, that's how much he's meant to my team. i was gonna make him a Hero for life. awesome backup RB and stellar special teams player. you'll be missed.

i know its a joke, but i traded only next year's 1st rounder as far as future 1sts go, and fortunately i have Suicane's guaranteed top 10 pick since he's gutting his team. my 1st rounder next year will probably wind up being like 1.18, 1.19.

i was always going to move those 2nd round picks. the fact that i get to keep one of my 1sts this year PLUS keep Suicane's soon to be valuable 2015 1st round pick while giving up my own likely low 2015 1st made this easy for me to do. i didn't give up any 1st round picks in 2016. i don't consider 3rd round picks to be "high picks". i haven't ever had any 3rd round picks make a significant contribution on any of my teams. my 2nd round picks from the last two years - outside of TE Juan McElroy - are hardly looking like probowlers. its a gamble, but what trade isn't? at least i get to choose which stud QB i want. i rather the choice be mine than have my choice made for me.

OT Ralph Young is a great 4th year veteran tackle with sexy bars. i now have 3 of my 5 O-line spots locked up for the next 10 or so years. me getting a starting OT back in a deal where i aquired the first overall pick makes this a win for me, a team in massive need of an overhaul like HAR needs all the picks it can get so for them i'm sure its a win as well. very fair deal for both sides.

Heroes are in top 10 as far as teams under the salary cap. we got lotsa money to throw around to 2nd tier players to flesh out our bench. i always have less than 30 players on the roster heading into FA, its familiar territory. i haven't even extended contracts of players on my team yet. this is a non-issue.

sure, when the stakes are that high, you do get a rush. still, for such a big trade it didn't take long, i put out the feeler last nite and it was finalized this morning. i still haven't seen the draft file yet but once i heard it was chock full of goodies i decided to stop dicking around and threw in a couple more things so that i wouldn't have to worry about competing offers from other teams. stud QBs in the draft tend to make people's nipples get all hard and pointy.

HAs response: I was able to acquire some STUD 'Fire', and I only had to trade away all my water to get this Fire. I knew that I was going to only have one chance to get FIRE, and I had to do whatever it took to get it. Water is useless, and if I can be set with my 'FIRE' for the next 10 seasons, then its a small price to pay for it. You people are morons.

a lot of what i do is smoke and mirrors. i do smear campaigns and look to promote whatever commodity i have. i was looking at all my 2nd rounders coming up in 2015 and looked at such players i picked up last draft with my 2nd rounders, such luminaries like DE Junior Edwards whose entire dream is the be the best mediocre DE he can be. i'm going back to my earlier procedure of using 2nd round picks to move up in the first round. that's about the only thing 2nd rounders are good for. don't get me wrong, if this trade didn't get done i'd be happy to have a lot of high picks in next year's draft, but next year Suicane may not fuck up the file and we may be stuck with a shitty draft file. once i heard this year's draft was the bee's balls i pounced like a leopard on an injured antelope.
