Whew. That was tough. Im happy with the deal. Gets rid of a soon to be pain in the ass and gets Sanford a quality receiver. Worried about the drops but I will survive.
Jamison was tough to let go of, but Wally the LB adds much needed depth.

TUL clearly rapes montreal in this deal. they get one of the top 5 WRs in the game plus a 1st rounder back for a DE they didn't want to resign. WOW. i'm speechless.

I don't see this as a "rape" at all. I think it is a fair trade. Montreal was able to move up into the top 5 of the draft, that is a huge move even from 1.16, plus he gets a damn good DE.

Seems pretty fair to me, and in fact I am pretty happy that Tulsa traded away Brummitt and won't have a top 5 pick now.

Dorenbos played sparingly. Out of league.
1-16 turned into FS Earnest Porter who has 12 picks and a 79.6 PD%. He is just now breaking out.

Montreal--
Brummitt 203 tackles 25 sacks 71 hurries
Jamison 110 catches for 1270 yards 7 TDs 11 drops
1-4 turned into Everett Rose 18 picks and a 84 PD%. He is one of the best safeties in the league.

I think Brummitt really ruined Montreal. He has never played to his bars.

I think what ruined Montreal was my assumption that this game was equally biased towards offense AND defense. I learned my lesson years too late
