i shouldn't be making this deal. i really don't want to do this. Davis is too old and will likely retire next season when we switch to FOF2K7 (i hope we don't). still, he is gonna be a monster in the defensive scheme we run here and i'll only have to pay him $890K this season. i hope it's worth 2 4th round picks (not counting Meyer cuz he's a backup CB who shouldn't be starting).

i think its a hit or miss with the retirees in 2007. There is a good chance he can play for a few more years.

Will do this before the end of the night - I don't believe you need to make room. Keep in mind that if you did need to make room you'd have to take care of it in another stage. I don't allow extra transactions to occur outside of the regular stages.
