TRADE IS CANCELLED.
I am actuallly in a bit of a cap jam. Keep in mind, that Mitchell and Bice will need contracts next year, and neither of them have decided to play for cheap. By deferring draft picks to the following years, I not only get double picks in 2008(had I gone through with the trade), but also could use the picks to bring in quality trades as well.As a CAP move it does clear some space, but the Assassins should not be pressed with the CAP. Interesting for sure
It's actually a very effective way to build for the future, and most of the starters are already signed for next year so I am not pressed to use the draft to fill holes.
