You're just about under the cap now, Justin, with 37 players signed after your three trades. You will have around 9.5 million in dead cap money this year and around 13 million in deap cap money next year.

          Ouch.

See I took over this team when I really knew nothing about the tricks of signing contracts and renegotiating contracts. I renegotiated a lot of contracts and went after four or five big name free agents each off season. Since then I've learned a lot, so hopefully things will start to change but damn it is going to be a tough next couple of seasons.

how do you end up with 78mil in dead money? sign 3-5 superstars to 6 year deals with 30 mil signing bonus and then cut/trade/retire them?

                          Sabotage?

It's pretty funny considering that Chubby ran that team in the beginning. Chubby is famous for being the first to make really badly backloaded contracts. He caused a fuss in IHOF for doing it, but little do many know that he actually did it in the USFL first.

Not sure how/if that is related to the current problems or not.
