    Three firsts for a safety that may not be much of an upgrade for this year? Dubious

      Brandon Cox it is! The only player outside of Crespo even in the realm of three 1st round picks....

        that's my pick, too...unless his scout sees something at DT that no one else does...

        although Ames together with last year's CB would be a helluva shutdown secondary

I offered 3 1st rounders for stud RBs before, and been turned down........many times!

            I did, and you're lucky I don't have the final PM offer to prove. You got cold feet at the last minute.......and you had cpu problems at the the time. I know I offered that! We were at 2 and you wanted a third. I said OK and your cpu problems kicked in . The day before the trading deadline, I asked you if you still wanted to do the deal, and you figured you'd hold onto him.
            I can't believe you don't remember that :shock:

                  Anyone ever look to see who Texas got in return for the #2 pick?

                  1-29, 2005 -- CB Terrell Tyler 20/35
                  1-27, 2006 -- DT Marlon Russell 45/60
                  1-26, 2007 -- LB Winston McKnight 55/60

                    Considering my history with first round receivers, you still got screwed. . .

                      http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/6330687

                      1-2 (2600) > 1-29 (640) + 1-27 (680) + 1-26 (700)

                      That's not even taking the devaluation of the future picks into account. 8)

                        Actually, it is:

                        If ( $playerposition=WR ) {
                        1-2 (1) < 1-29 (640) + 1-27 (680) + 1-26 (700);
                        } else {
                        1-2 (2600) > 1-29 (640) + 1-27 (680) + 1-26 (700);
                        }

                        Just ask Detroit. . .
