This deal is obviously a great deal for Bigwood, especially because the #29 pick THIS year is gonna land a pretty good player. It also says volumes about how good I think my team is gonna be next year. We've only lost one starter and that was a 14-year vet DT whose ratings were in the 30s. I also don't believe that the future drafts are very likely to be as deep as this one.

This one can be compared to JaveGate, but it has it's differences. It's gonna look bad for Columbia because of how much talent is in this year's draft. For Bigwood to get the most out of this trade, I'm gonna have to have a couple of sub-par or around .500 seasons. With Cartagena back and healthy, is that gonna happen?

*waits to get reemed by Jave*

I think Bigwood did good myself. Like you said, this years draft is deep and he will get a good player at 1-29.

If your team does have a down year (too many injuries or w/e) in the next two years, Bigwood did even better.

I like how aggressive you are in trying to win a championship. Whoever that #1-2 pick may be, he should help out a lot this season. A championship would be very much worth what you gave up to get that pick.

I see it as a good trade for Sov. He did give up 3 picks, but assuming that his team's in the playoffs for the next 3 yrs, those will all be late round picks. To have the opportunity to pick #2 is huge. You can get a real superstar there, opposed to at the end of the 1st rnd. I offered 3 1st rounders for stud RBs before, and been turned down........many times!

and if someone at #4, #5 or 6, etc. really wants, say, Caro, then Columbia might get a first rounder back

I think that, to make this trade, sov must have a player in mind that he really wants. That would make trading down pretty risky. I'm surprised that this trade was made in the same division, though.

Could Sov be considering a heir for Julian?

My money is on Ames. Sov wants that Defensive Rookie of the year award again
