What Does Your Team Do During Bye Week?

If you ask the Seals, the bye week is considered a week to reflect on the current season and how to improve. Below will highlight this weeks events!

1. Some players take losing harder than others.

When GM Armic King was asked why RB Don Ricci missed Mondays practice? The GM revealed that Ricci was suffering from Severe Depression and will be listed as out this week meaning he will miss this weeks trip to New Orleans.

2. Sometimes not playing football is the only way to win!

According to the Power Rankings this week Portland moved up from 32nd to 31st. Leaving last place to the Vermont Condors.

3. The Seals are finally Healthy!

LT Lee Hugh is finally healthy enough to play but it appears he will not retake his starting Job... and will be instead moving to RT to try and solidify a Mediocre Offensive Line.

4. The Seals are still looking to make moves!

Armic was asked during the Press Conference i f the roster was settled as we get closer to the deadline. The GM responded by saying " Portland has 10 Total Picks in this years upcoming draft and a lot of holes to fill. If that means we trade some of the picks so be it. If that means we stockpile more picks so be it. With 50 Million in cap space anything is possible.

5. We Make it on Sage of the Gridiron!

Louis Whiting was featured as the 3rd best special teams player in the IFL! The first time Portland was mentioned this season!

This week in Portland we suffered the toughest lose of the season against New Orleans. A game where the stats were almost Identical Portland continued to their trend of giving up the ball in crucial parts of the game. This week we are answering questions you guys sent in!

Q. When will RB Ricci Don be back on the field?

A. According to Coach Houghtlin he is going to give Ricci all the time he needs to come back from his depression, and when he is able to play he is sure he will be back with his teammates.

Q. With the FB Dole going down in last weeks game how will the running game look this week, will we sign a Free Agent?

A. There have been FB's worked out but I believe the plan is to use RB Piller as FB with the hope that his ability to catch out of the back field will help until Dole is ready to play.

Q. We are more than a quarter way through the season. How many wins can we expect when the season ends?

A. I will go with the hope that the coaches begin to Coach for their jobs and guess 4 - 12.

Q. Who has more Rushing Yards at the end of the Season a running back or the QB?

A. Toviessi Currently leads the team with 154 yards rushing so my guess is the QB unless something changes drastically.
