Mules multi-year starter and PO winner QB JT George was showing the his teammates his new Mule tattoo when GM Kobeck asked him to come to the office and bring his playbook.
meanwhile the equiptment manager was cleaning out George's locker.
George was stunned to learn of the trade. Wait till the Mules fans learn of this. And the week before opening games no less.
GM Kobeck was quoted as saying "JT is a good QB. Hell hes won multiple playoff games, but hes no Opie. Damn I miss Opie. Gotta find another Peterson." Kobeck was snapped out of his pining when asked about the new Mule DE Wheeler "Frank is a good DE who just needs a change. There were some personality issues in Madison. Apparently LB Goings holds position meetings at Visions. When Frank was reluctant to pay his part on the offseason boat trip things just kinda went sour for Wheeler."
Frank Wheeler was estatic about his move to Murfreesboro "Cant wait to start working with Beauchamp. Such a professional and DC Borders has a great reputation with Dlinemen. Also I will only be about half an hour to my walking horse ranch in my hometown. So that will be great!"
