Despite the emergence of WR Martinez, and Hamilton throwing for his first 300 yard day, the Assassins still proved to the IFL that they are not quite ready for the big time.
Ho had his usual day against Oakland, running for his normal 34 rushes, 153 yards. "One of these days, our team will be able to stop the fucking run. I am so fucking sick of seeing teams just run at will against us. I am going to fire every single fucking linebacker I see, if another runningback has career days every fucking time they play us"!
Aparantly, the coaching staff feels less then impressed with the linebacker corps.
The problems don't stop there as, Hamilton tossed 3 more picks, leaving him with a staggering 10, with only 6 games under his belt. "These are rookie mistakes, I am willing to live with those".
Good news? There is some hope for this team, as widerecievers Martinez and Tessier are having outstanding seasons, runningback Connell is starting to find his feet in this league, and defensive end Nelson, is on his way to another pro bowl season.
Its going to take some time, however Oakland feels good about where they are heading.
This time next year, expect our win-loss record to be reversed.
