Post Camp ratings: 58/87 He'll join the elite DE in the league soon enough.
We traded up a couple spots to make sure we got this elite DE. He's going to start for us opening day and i'm thrilled with this pick at the moment.
1.18 OLB Justin Cole Nebraska
Pre Camp ratings: 30/61
Post Camp ratings: 37/66 Just what we hoped for. He's going to help give us a deadly pass rush.
Our scouting department felt this speed demon was very underrated by scouts around the league and we feel he'll step in day 1 and man the SLB position. Cole's ability to rush the passer is going to be utilized and should give our defense a totally new look this year.
1.21 SS Kelvin Fackleman Pittsburgh
Pre Camp ratings: 41/71
Post Camp ratings: 47/71 No slippage here which is just what we wanted.
This 5-10 195 lbs safety doesn't have big size but he's got great awareness and fantastic hands. I'm not sure he'll start opening day, it will depend on how fast he catches on at camp. I do know at some point he'll be our QB in the secondary.
2.22 CB Leland Hoover Iowa State

Post Camp ratings: 25/46 I expected a small bump here but probably wouldn't have guessed +5 so pretty happy with this pick.
I'm not expecting a major roll immediately but long term we have high expectations for this CB. He's going to be great run defender and his M2M skills should be very solid.
2.29 FS Dennis Bronson Michigan State

Post Camp ratings: 21/36 It should be interesting to see how he looks at CB next sim.
We love the idea of this FS moving to cornerback his speed and strength should translated perfectly to our defensive gameplan. We traded a future 2nd for the pick and feel pretty good about the pick and expect a big ratings jump after training camp.
3.19 K Jumbo Elmore Virginia

Post Camp ratings: 40/80 Too bad he didn't gain a little more on his current ratings. Hopefully he doesn't end up being a 55/55 Kicker
I think Jumbo is going to be Jumbo "shrimp" from this point on. We need an upgrade at kicker and hopefully we found that with our 3rd round pick. His combine #s we decent for a kicker and hopefully he develops quickly.
