  • Hardest Division in IFL...

... is once again, no surprise.... NC East!!

Only 5/8 divisions sport an above .500 2nd place team...

3/8 sport an above .500 3rd place team...

Only 1 division flexes a legitimate post-season contender lying in wait in the 4th place spot at 7-6...

And it's the same division that's been doing it since the 1st IFL game ever...

    The more things change...

I was just looking at the same thing

AFCS is much tougher than is widly recognized. Mules & Renegades are, barring a total collapse, going to the POs. St.L has that D and the damn VooDoo already put a beatdown on Murfreesboro earlier.

But despite that no comp for the NFCE

it's a tough one for sure. you have to be an elite team in the league to win the division.

The NC South is pretty tough this year too. With three teams above .500, and Georgia, Texas and LR all fairly young. This IS the division of the future in the IFL.

Having 3 playoff teams come from 1 division is actually pretty rare in the IFL with it only happening once before (in the NC-E no less), and quite possibly the 2nd time this year.

In the NFL, it's happened 4 times since 2006, but I'm not really sure what that means regarding parity. The NFL is run by about 6 teams that make the playoffs nearly every year, and the IFL appears to be the same.

Both leagues seem to have 3 tiers. The good, the bad and the ugly. Good = 9+ wins regularly, bad (average) = 5-8 wins, ugly = 0-4 wins. Breaking out of your tier seems to be tough. I'm rambling, it's late
