In stunning news, it loks like the IFL commisioners Matt and Suicane have green lighted the 1st zombie to play in the IFL. Never before in the history of the IFL has a zombie played in the IFL. In fact, zombies are not allowed to eat in many restaurants or use the same drinking fountains as humans.
But here we are, a zombie in the IFL. Lawrence made the pick that stunned the league, as well as changing the landscape of the league. Picking the 3rd round, the Phantoms GM Jester Blaze, took Adam Hinman, who had been playing in the ZFL.
When contacted about the selection Jester said " We love Hinmans durability. There will be no down time for Hinman. If he loses an arm, he will keep coming at you. If he loses a leg, he will keep coming at you. Our only concern is his head. We know teams will be sending head hunters after Hinman. So we have contracted an engineer to develop a helmet that will keep Hinmans head connected to his neck. We were also contacted by the Commisioners office and told to develop a mouth piece that will keep Hinman from biting other players should Hinmans helmet come off. While this is a costly endeavor, we in the Phantoms oraganiztion feel this is the right move to intergrate the league."
The rest of the league isnt so excited about the pick or the idea of the intergration. After the pick was made, Tulsa GM Tarcone said "Tulsa refuses to play Lawrence if the employ zombies. We will not aliow our players to be endangered."
