Whats the Hades Fresno?

65 year old RJ Montgomery is on the last year of a 5 year contract as DC and he is going to leave his mark on the Warthog D. The X-Mule convienced HC Moore and lead scout Montano too allow RJ some input in the warroom. Montgomery said "The Warthogs play hard but when you have to go to Portland, LA and Anchorage every year playing hard is not enough. Fresno needs TALENT and the coaching staff needs to utilize that talent."

Looking at the 2023 draft selections it is easy to see that Fresno acquired talent. Taking DE Passport to complement franchised Beauchamp and DE Diamond also. LBs Valles, Spolane, Delgado were also added. Hancock looks to fit right in at CB and dont forget SS Porter from Portland.

New OC Heath Leigh, from the Toads, also got some new guys. Fresno added Thomason, Mason and Dobler (grandson of NFL legend Conrad Dobler) to a solid if not spectacular OL. Leigh said "the only position that is set for the Warthogs is LG, everything else is wide open."

HC Moore said "The OTAs will determine a lot heading into TC. The 2023 draft will be huge for the Warthogs. These guys will play and hopefully they will play well cause everyone in the entire FO is depending on them."

Rumors are that the Warthogs first pick Passwater (2.4) was seen playing MLB with his hand on the ground and RJ tossing a clipboard at him.

RJ Montgomery liked the new look of the Warthog D after the OTAs

Passwater will remain atop the MLB depthchart with vetran Galloway remaining to assist in the development of Arnold. "Big A is raw but talented" Vernon said between drills "but when Big A hits ya ya stay hit lol"

Wollmuth and Graham, both young experienced LBs drafted three years ago were seen retrieving punts for D'Elisa and Lucas. Schottenheimer was in the clubhouse watching Blues Clues.

It appears the 2023 Warthog D will feature as many as 5 rookie starters and that includes all 3 LB slots. Should be exciting times for the War Thogs!
