Phantoms 2022 Draft
With no cap room we knew going into this draft that we wouldn't be picking until late. Our scouts didn't bother too much with the Blue Chip players in this draft class, nor even the 2nd Tiers, but Phocused their time looking at smaller schools, special teamers, and players who might not be maxing out their potential in their current roles. For the hand we were dealt, and the cap situation we're in, I think we did alright though only Phather Training Camp will tell...
4.3 J.T. Tullo, DE->LB:
J.T. was a very good college DE but in the eyes of the Phantoms War Room he fits the mold of MLB almost perfectly. His combine performance can be compared to any ILB coming out of the draft in recent years and we're hoping that he booms into his new position after TC. If we can get what would normally be a 2nd round talent in the 4th round then we've obviously done well. We've asked J.T. to slim down during Training Camp. As an FOF player I have no idea how the game calculates the "missing attributes" when going from DLine to LB.

4.28 Julio Herod, MLB:
Julio looks great coming out of college and with no great prospect sitting around at 4.28 we decided to throw our scout a bone. Our scout has him Very Underrated. All we ask is that he stays within 10-20% of his initial ratings and contributes on Special Teams and we'll be content.
Height: 6'0" Weight: 245 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 11/60
Post-Camp Rating: ???
4.29 Richard Boehm, FS
Another scout pick. Richard's bars look great, our scout also has him at Very Underrated, and he's a talented Special Teams player. Like Herod, we expect a drop-off but if we're wrong we've got a great player. Here's hoping that we're wrong on this one!
Height: 5'11" Weight: 190 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 16/54

5.30 Charles Denver, DT
Charles is a big run-stopper. Not a bad thing at the DT position and certainly not bad at the end of the 5th. Rex says he's too big. We likes 'em players big 'round here!!
Height: 6'5" Weight: 322 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 26/51
Post-Camp Rating: ???
5.32 Lorenzo Magana, LDE
I love pass rushers. If there's one on the board when I'm selecting then I'm probably taking a stab. If Lorenzo proves to be an above average pass-rusher as a back-up then that's quality at 5.32 in my esteem. He fits a team need with a team style.
Height: 6'4" Weight: 273 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 14/44

6.19 Matt Kempthorne, QB
The 2022 gamble at the game's premiere position. 96 Volatility. 14 Phormations!
Height: 6'2" Weight: 225 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 25/52
Post-Camp Rating: ???
6.26 Walter Walters, DE->LDT
Huge Phrame that we're moving inside to DT and asking to eat a lot this off-season and come out of camp even heavier. Late draft experiment. Love the name!!
Height: 6'7" Weight: 295 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 19/37 at RDE
Pre-Camp Rating: 18/38 at LDT
Post-Camp Rating: ???
6.29 Emmitt Oben, K
An attempt at a kicker. Ooooh!! Ahhhh!! When compared to some of the "skill players" left on the board we felt that if we "hit" on Oben that he had a better chance at effecting the outcome of games than what else was available at 6.29. 97 Volatility.
Height: 5'10" Weight: 185 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 40/52

7.2 Donny Mayes, RB
Did not get signed going into camp due to cap reasons. Going to have a hard time making roster.
Height: 5'10" Weight: 207 lb.
Pre-Camp Rating: 27/31

7.24 Teddy Cudney, CB
