PITTSBURGH - Most preseason predictions had the Power near the bottom of the NFC, and though the team has played tough the 1-2 record is probably just what the critics had expected. The coaching staff feels that the reason for their losses has been not opening up the offense enough, especially on first and ten. Too many times, the Power have gotten into third and long situations. This week however the coaches feel that QB Alvin Mann will have his breakout game, especially against a secondary that is playing completely out of position. Cleveland may have been able to rack up yards on the ground against the Bolts, but their low YPC show that to be more a case of quantity of rushes, rather than being able to move the Burlington defenders. The pressure is on the Power now, as the Sports Page has picked them to defeat the Bolts in a close struggle.
