Tulsa unveiled their new home uniform this season. Labeled the "Singleton Uniform" after all time great running back Ken "DH" Singleton. The uniform will help the franchise celebrate the impending eclipse of the career rushing yard record currently held by Brian Dixon. Singleton is currently 383 yards away from the record. DH holds many career, season and single game records in the Imperial Football League. Singleton is expected to break the record at home against either Newark in week 3 or Madison in week 4. In anticipation of the feat, Tulsa Mayor Phil Attio has told the citizens of Tulsa to prepare for a day to celebrate DH. The date will be announced after Singleton breaks the record. The city will be shut down. Schools and government offices will be closed and businesses are encouraged to shut down as well. The city will have a parade and party downtown. Anticipation is high in Tulsa.
