Phantom Phans Phorget Phrozen Phlogging Phinal of 2019 and Phocus on 2020

Lawrence doesn’t rebuild they reload. 2 firsts 2 seconds 3 thirds & fourths plus 4 late round picks, and the situation is the same for 2021 as well. 42 players signed for 2020 but Jester does need to find $2.6m CAP. Of course this is caused by the cornucopia of draft picks not any real CAP issues.

This reporter will be hard pressed to find any obvious phalts (last one I promise) with Lawrence so I will concentrate on some superficial analysis and some useless predictions, because if anyone knew what Jester was going to do then they might be able to stop him.

QB – Amos under contract for 2 years and 11y disgruntled IFL vet Randall Burns holding the clipboard. I expect an upgrade for Amos backup. Probably a better veteran and a rookie project.

RB – Solid group here. Vaughn, Gietka (recently put on trade notice) & Humphries. Mix of youth and experience. I would not break this group up, but if Gietka is moved then I suspect the Phantoms will be looking ar RB with one of their early picks.

FB – Segas is coming into his prime and the backfield leader will be a Phantom for a while.

TE – Even more solid than the RBs. Lee is elite and Fisher could start for half the IFL. Montes will get some competition, but he was only active for 3 games. I suspect Jester will sign the RFA and then draft some competition.

WR – Greene and Silvan lead another solid group. Definalty not as top end talented as TE or RB but top too bottom there are no glaring holes. Jester will draft/trade if he sees value here, but he will not be forced to do anything he does not choose too do. 2019 6th rounder Stills has been offered for trade and in all likelihood not be in Lawrence next year.

C – Williamson is one of the best. Green is not getting any younger and Lawrence will defiantly draft someone late who they hope can unseat the veteran

G – Lewandowski’s play was not that great, but he did play last season with an arm injury. Plenty of upside so the LG spot is solid. RG Dole will become reserve G and line leader Dole if Jester sees an opportunity in the draft. Williamson and Mason are both vulnerable

T - LT Rezac anchors this position. Every year RZAc had increased his KRBs and decreased his SAC allowed. RT Tjandranegara is a less talented bookend to Rezac. Reserve T Zuck would be starting on some IFL teams. McKeever has probably suited up for Lawrence for the last time.

P – Scibona is one of the best and has a 3 year contract

K – Greene has had 2 decent years in Lawrence, but one of those draft picks will be used to bring some competition to this position

Dead on on most predictions. Nice work!

Silvan, the IFLs 5th or 6th leading receiver, will unfortunately be moving on as we couldn't meet his 3 yr/$14M or so contract. I'd love to see him go to a Pennsylvania or the like to pair with someone like Wolfe.

Kicker Clay Greene will be leaving Lawrence as the most hated Phantom in IFL History!!! I can't count the times I've cursed the screen and his existence. To see any other name on the Solo-Vision viewer will be such a pleasure!:dancemonkey:

DE - Bohannon & Copeland are an excellent pair, but depth is shallow. Farrell and Flynn played well in limited snaps but neither can get along with Ellis and neither will suit up for the Phantoms in 2020

DT - DL leader Raymond Ellis's skills have declined noticably and there is a noticable split in the lockeroom over his personality. Will be interesting too see if Jester dumps the grizzled vet or allows a disgruntled position leader to hang around. Learneds stats dropped his first season as full time starter and Reeves did no better. Although Jester could go DT early, this group just had a down year and I see no need for drastic moves at DT.

OLB - McCormick and Kemp are young and talented. Sure there are better OLBs in the IFL but both of these guys are solid IFL starters. I suspect Kemps pass coverage to improve as he goes thru Euroball.

MLB - Ferguson was benched in favor of rookie Pinkston and he is not pleased about it. Crane has potential. I think Ferguson will be looking for work unless injuries force Jester to keep him past exibition season

CB - Both Shawwa and Atwood are going into their 6th season and NB Bonk is younger. Lehr has room for improvement as well. Nothing too see here move along

SS - Hernandez is the secondary leader and extended to 2022. Expect a camp body to be drafted here

FS - McBrayer is clearly better than Gonzalez and Sawyer. But neither of them will be phantoms in 2020. Jester will use a low round pick here and allow the potential to develop

Broke as Phuck Phild is 24 years old and unfourtunatly for the IFL fan support for a new stadium is running strong. Will Jester have the next IFL palace???

Lawrence revenues were off slightly and Bonuses doubled. Still the Phantoms were profitable - barely. But that will allow Jester to bid for any Scout he wants to replace Leland Howe. HC Nichols and his staff are as safe as anyone in the IFL. Sure Bryant Whites contract is up but Jester has all the $$$s to retain his services. I say Lawrence takes care of their own here, but a move in the scouting department would not be a suprise.

Lawrence's new stadium construction is actually entering year 4/5 and will be completed in 2021. For those wondering it has literally everything available and the team payed the max allowed to lessen the load on our wonderful Phans. The new field will be called...
