TigerHawks Signing Talent
Our favorite team seems to be collecting wide outs this offseason. First, the big acquisition of Tim Rhinehart. Then, on the same day, Arnie Harding comes over from Pennsylvania, and we sign Thurman Meske and resign Marlon Cardoza. That makes 7 wide receivers on the roster. What is the plan? Whatever it is, I love that we are collecting talent.
Last season, our hero, Matt Sanford was on fire. He threw for 5319 yards, 16 yards short of setting the IFL record for most passing yards. We have added great talent. Will he throw for 6000 yards?
The Greatest Treat on Wheat continues to get more tasty. I cant wait to see what type of offense we will run this season. Rumors are swirling that OC Les Delgado wants to run a one back system. But Sanford will have to get some study time to learn this system. The team has been a 2 back team for as long as I can remember. This offseason will answer the question. Can we be a single back offense?
And how will the greatest back in the IFL produce in that type of system? He wont have a fullback to pave the way. But DH loves to run and can catch. I predict he breaks the single season rushing record this season. 1500 yards is not out of the question.
6000 yards by the QB and 1500 yards by the RB. Is that possible? I think so. Big plays and more big plays will be in store for the Tigerhawk faithful. Take your bathroom breaks during the timeouts, you wont want to miss anything.
