Matt, if a two club race, you are right; however, there seems to be a higher probability that there would be more than two clubs tied, and unless a team beat all of the other clubs, it moves to conference record for the tie breaker which is not Newark's strong point.

I hear ya TB. I figured something was wacky a few week's back when we were tied with Georgia and someone else (Madison, I think) for the last playoff spot and the game was showing us not in the playoffs and Georgia IN the playoffs.

I think I've come to grips with this either way. I don't really think this year's team is as good as year's past. Homefield is such a huge thing to get, so I don't like our chances going to PEN or TUL or LAW. Best thing for our team would be to likely lose and play a 3rd place schedule next year. aka no PEN or TUL. That said, if there's any way we can squeak in that would make me really happy.
