    Oakland Press, Oakland, Ca

Possibly the toughest week one match up the Oakland organization could have thought up, after only one season, there is already bad blood between these two. After getting smoked in last years week 3 match up, 27-0, the Assassins came back in week 12 to win, 12-10. Now, a new year is upon us, however, the duo of RB Ho, and QB Colella remain.
If you are able to stop Allan Ho, then you leave the reckless Colella to continue to chuck passes up time after time, untell he either throws 3 or 4 interceptions, or kills you with 3 or 4 touchdowns. Weapons are in no short supply on this Vancouver team, however, their main weakness seems to be a lack of leadership in the front office. Regardless, the players that run on the field week after week want to win, and are a serious threat, week in and week out.
A new year is upon us, and it will be interesting to see with all the new faces in the most important positions, how this team will do. Will Oakland be forced to start over from scratch, or will the experience learned in last years 14 losses, amount to enough to garner at least 6 or 7 more wins? Only time will tell. We will see you Sunday in Vancouver!
