  • Some hope for Fresno ?

Everybody knows the season should be tough for the Chaos with a lot of rookies starting for the team.

Without passing game (QB Darrell Wilson isn't ready yet) and a very poor running game, the offense was expected to struggle.

But today the Head Coach Freddie Cristal announced that fan favorite Quentin Alicea won't be the starting fullback as expected, he will be the starting running back !

"We've tried him at that position during practice and he really looks perfect for that role. Sure he might need a little time to adapt but we're expecting great things from him" Alicea commented.

"With the offensive line we have, we might be able to have a good running game after all, so winning one or two games in the season becomes a possibility" he added.

As a result, the team is now looking for a backup FB behind Dallas Ellis.

    1 or 2 wins?

You will probably do better then that if you can get a good running game going. Hell, I had a good running game last season and got 4 wins.

Not to rain on your parade, but I also have a stud FB, and he looked so good running, that I had him start as RB, and it was a total failure. His average stayed the same, around 4.5, however, the average rushes stayed the same as well, around 14 a game. SO if you run against a stud D, you can except your starting RB will continue to take the load of rushes.
I may be wrong, and I wish ya luck, but that was my experience last year.

Ouch, you really did switch him to RB. This is perhaps the first position change I have a problem with since his ratings were WAAAAYYYY better as a FB.

Fb's can run pretty damn good from the RB spot, I have had several 1000 yard rushers doing that in solo player.

Wow, that is screwy. So when you changed him in your game he came out looking good, like I would have expected going by his height and weight. I have not had a position change show me one thing in my game, and then when a commish puts it through come out as something different. This kind of puzzles me.

Well I guess I won't say anything more about it. F.Y.I. I am very much a fan of changing FBs into RBs, and do it every now and then when needed.

So even though the game told you that there was going to be a 37% ratings decrease (and significant experience reduction) you decided to go ahead and make the position change?

The ACTUAL changes aren't shown until the commissioner has imported the export with the position change being made and then exported back to you. This has always been the case. The Chicago Crusaders GM did this in the USFL way back when with one of his FBs.

I always assumed what it was showing you was the real change, since that is what I have always gotten back from what I remember.

Taking a guess from the "37%" line, did you go back and look to see what it said?
