As Reno management watched one player after another they had targeted come off the board in the first round of yesterday's draft, they finally agreed to go with local safety Irving Sweeney out of UNLV. While new coach Jim Delap liked the way Sweeney interviewed, there are certainly more glaring needs than safety in the Wolfpack organization. It appears there are plans to look to see if he can make the move to Cornerback, but this is a first round risk that Reno can't afford to make.
