It was perhaps the ugliest game the IFL has seen so far, evidenced by two 70+ yard passing TD's,an 86 yard kickoff return for a TD, a blocked punt for a TD, a missed extra point and the Phantoms' inability to get a single point out of two consecutive Virgil Sepulveda interceptions. But in the end we came out on top and can comfortably put this behind us now.
All went well in the opening minutes as we got 2 TD's out of the first three non-defensive plays (an 84 yard TD pass and an 86 yard KO return) to open up a quick 14-3 lead. But what looked to be the beginnings of a blowout quickly changed as Burlington fought back to grab control of the lead and the game in the second quarter. They maintained that lead throughout the 3rd quarter and deep into the 4th at which point a Tobias Stanfield desperation bomb on 3rd and 9 at our own 30 connected with Lenny Ramano to give us a 2 point lead that would prove enough to seal the game.
We now have a 2-0 divisional record which can be looked at as a silver lining to our disastrous 2-3 start.

Lenny Ramano now leads the league with both 28 catches and 503 yards thanks to his 155 yard performance.
Dan Lenhart now leads the league in both interceptions and passes defensed.
The Cleveland Clawz are absolutely dominating the ground with an astounding 228.4 rushing yards per game!
