Early in the afternoon, Tulsa acquired All-league cornerback Duane Edwards from Newark. Sent to Newark was nickelback Kent Wachsmuth, next years 5th and 2017 1st and 2nd.
Then in a deadline deal, Tulsa called on St Louis. Tulsa acquired outside linebacker John Oliver from the Cardinals for outside linebacker Adrian Haddad, and 2 future picks.
These deals provide all star talent, and provide depth to a defense that has shown moments of greatness.
