I'm also surprised to not see Grujin up there. 40 tackles, 1 sack, 4 INTs, 15 caught, 5 defended. Pretty solid season for him.

I think Kufahl should have been 1st team rather than Mueller. All things being equal, it seems cohesion plays a role in rookie success. Does this utility all allow for an all sophomore team? It would be interesting to track how much turnover there is a players become more fully developed.

FIRST ROUND picks are usually slotted to "make a statement" in their first year as a pro, unless they are at a QB that is targeted for grooming. "Making a statement" would seem to equate to being selected as a 1st or the 2nd all rookie selection.

I drafted Hardy when I filled in for Warhammer. Don't think he is even the best rookie DE on his team. Still not a total bust, just a reach for a mid first rounder.

Overall I give HA credit for this years draft. He did a very solid job


I did manage to pry Abney away from Tuffy though - I'm liking that trade more and more. Especially the way the season ended in Fresno
