With Warhammers continued absence, some sort of International House Sabatical, the IFL leadership has appointed Kobeck as Chief Executive in Hartford. Kobeck has been leading the Grizzlies on a temporary basis since the beginning of the offseason. "It is a privilage to be back in the IFL again" said Kobeck.
Kobeck was an original owner of the Murfreesboro Mules who, having settled some off the field personal matters, is back in the IFL on a full time basis. When asked about IFL stability Kobeck said "IFL is stable, best professional football league there is. Ownership has had some turnover, but mostly it is guys comming back to fufill their IFL ambitions"
Kobeck takes over a team that was an IFL worst 2-14 last season. When asked about the state of the Grizzlies Kobeck said "Talent at all positions and plenty of draft picks. The future is bright in Hartford"
When asked specifically about the Grizzlie offense Kobeck responded "This is Hickmans team, when healthy. Jamison is not 25 anymore and the franchise back will be afforded extra days off and a special role in the offense. The WR corps is talented also depth to the fifth WR is not an issue for Hartford. TE has all-pro talent and the OL is solid, but lacks depth"
But what about the D Kobeck? "DE has good starters and a couple of rookies pressing the starters for snaps, same with DT. Linebacker has talent but not as much depth as would be liked. The backfield is stronger at CB than S. This will hopefully be addressed soon. And before you ask Hartford has a punter and a kicker"
Kobeck finished with the following message to Hartford, and all IFL fans. "Glad to be back and hopefully my stay in Hartford will be productive. Whats a Grizzlie anyways??? some sort of kitten or something with those paw-paws on the helment -what??? Is this thing still on .....CLICK"
