[B]AP- Majority shareholder and CFO of the Newark Bulldogs, Anthony Soprano, is upset about the teams lack of offense in the teams first 2 weeks. The Bulldogs are simply not living up to the expectations that Management has. During the Bulldogs bye week, the players were given most of the week off, but Soprano had most of the offensive unit building cohesiveness at the local gentlemen’s club, the Bada Bing.
“This is simply unacceptable,”screamed Soprano,”we’re the most prestigious team in the IFL and we’re not living up to that! Things are gonna change around here”
Sources close to the team said Soprano had a closed door meeting with the offense during the prep for week 4. Soprano was said to have an intriguing motivational speech for the players. The source, which chose to go unnamed, would not go into detail as to what motivational tools were used.
We’ll see how things go this weekend when Newark takes on Norfolk. Norfolk is currently a 2 point favourite, but late betting activity on Newark might see that number fall slightly.
