Sorry I missed last weeks games. Life sometimes has a way of taking over. Big shakeup in the standings, so i will get to them now.

    #1 10-2

Madison went to Iowa City and won on a last second FG, 34-31. Then they crushed Oakland at home 41-18. The team is on a roll but watch out, 3 of their last 4 games are on the road. They get a very good Cleveland team at home this weekend. Madison loses 28-24.

    #2 10-2

Tulsa had two tough road games. They won both. Beating Hartford 41-27 and Orlando 37-34 on some late game craziness. Tulsa has 3 of theuir last 4 games at home, starting this weekend against a very good West virginia team. Tulsa wins 42-38.

    #3 9-3

Lansing makes its debut at #3 after beating Wichita 52-34 and Texas 48-26. Lansing is on fire at the right time as they challenge Madison and Pennsylvania for the division title. They play 3 of their last 4 on the road starting in Iowa City this weekend. Lansing dominates, 45-24.

    #4 9-3

Pennsylvania went 1-1 in the last 2 weeks. They lost to Cleveland 23-17 and beat Georgia 37-27. Lansing plays 3 of their last 4 games at home. It starts this weekend against Montreal, a team with a nasty defense. The Lions roar, 27-14.

    #5 9-3

Texas is stumbling at a bad time. If the playoffs started today they would be left out. They lost their last 2 games. Losing to West Virginia 37-19 and Lansing 48-26. It doesnt get any easier as they play 3 of their last 4 on the road. Traveling to Hartford is never easy, but the Trojans rebound, 28-21.

    Worst of the League

Dakota takes over this honor. They lost their last 2 games. 27-10 against Montreal. Then in the Toilet Bowl against Reno, they lost 13-10. Scandal has surrounded the franchise, as accusations of playing to get the #1 pick have surfaced. The Dakota franchise has denied the accusations, but now sit very close to getting the #1 pick.

With all the inter-conference games this week will the real AC contenders please stand up?

And don't look for Reno to show up again at the bottom of this list. Of the 2-win teams they appear to have the easiest schedule and could actually pull out 3 more wins before this season's over.

Another new #1. Musical chairs at the top. Will the AC be represented? Not this week. Here is this weeks TOP 5 Plus:

        #1 11-2

The NC South leader has moved into 1st place. The offense played pretty well. The defense was outstanding. Tulsa is playing pretty well right now. The bad news is they travel to Little Rock this week. Tulsa sweeps the series for the 1st time ever, 35-27.

        #2 10-3

Lansing survives Iowa City. QB Gene Hamilton connects often with WR Sherman Jarvis. Next week Lansing is featured in the game of the week as theytravel to Pennsylvania. This matchup has playoff implications written all over it. Lansing continues their hot streak, 43-32.

        #3 10-3

Pennsylvania whacks Montreal. They dominated the strong F-Bird defense. A solid overall performance. Next week, the Lions host Lansing. Lions lose 43-32.

        #4 10-3

After beating Hartford handily, Texas is still out in the cold. No playoffs for the Trojans. Grady "Money" Gomez is his usual stud self in the win. Next up is a visit from nemesis Georgia. Texas has struggled lately. Georgia in the upset, 24-23.

        #1 10-2

Madison stumbles against Cleveland. Madison had no production from the offense or defense. Next week they travel to Dakota, who may have found an offense. Madison feasts, 35-14.

        Worst of the League

Hartford takes the spot. This team has fallen off the face of the league. They are on a 7 game losing streak. It doesnt get any easier as Norfolk pays a visit.
