Mules FB Sheldon Mendez said he felt slighted by Vic and would have too reconsider any future interview requests

Mendez has over 1800 more rush yards and a comparable number of recieving yards as Greeley. Mendez has started a handful of games more than Greeley and has been 1 or 2 all AFC 5 times to Greeleys twice. Only significant stat Greeley tops Mendez on is TDs and that is most probably related to Greeleys playing in a successful offense for his whole career vs Mendez toiling away with the Willoughby led Mules for years and years.

      Blah blah blah

Rau and Mendez have been getting most of the in-game accolades because you two rush the hell out them. Time for a true old-school fullback to get his glory.

Mendez carries have dropped considerable since Fortune was drafted and I sorted out how to get the RB the ball - lol

Mule faitful will just make our own All-time AFC with blackjack and hookers! Forget the blackjack.

Jerald Harden is the best TE hands down.

Big thanks once again goes out to gstelmack for making this happen. Some of the "races" were very close, and as long as players remain active, expect these positions to change. I'll probably end up doing 1st and 2nd team's at the conclusion of this season.

Maybe. Harden is younger and may surpass Bryant. Bryant has a big advantage with his TD grabs.

You're right in terms of numbers Bryant has the edge. In terms of playoff success Harden hands down. I' know first hand without him we advance a couple of more times.

Nice to see Scharf and Weiss up there. MLB Augustine Murray deserves some accolades as well but I don't have the game in front of me to compare.

I'm shocked that Bryce Tan and Tracy Damien aren't up there. A long shot would be Stephen Suarez as well. As good as Caro is, I'm not sure that Lozier shouldn't be the QB.

Thanks for the support and naturally, I have a HUGE bias to tout the "Finger" a bit.

We are talking ALL-TIME here ... and it would seem that in giving all-time consideration for the QB position, one might need to brouse the W-L column and championships brought to the table. QB's are hired to fabricate wins and championships, not just TD's and other flashy stats. Montana did not have the flashiest of stats but he comes to mind when considering All-Time.

Not-so-flashy Lozier currently leads the league in the percentage W-L column and is only five wins away from getting #100. Steiner is the closest to Lozier at 87 wins. Finger also leads the league with eleven playoff wins that includes three trips to the big show and coming away with two Imperial Bowl MVPs. There just isn't anybody in that category to challenge.

I would never say anything disparaging about Caro. He is a great QB and he is one of many good QB's in the league. Caro's credentials suggest that his day in the sun will come but before he can be considered as the greatest of all time, he will need to at least win his first playoff game.

The bottom line on Lozier: it would be very hard for someone to convince me that Lozier is not the hands-down choice if one uses the logical criteria that we all use when we draft, pay outrageous salaries, and play the most important position on our individual team rosters. A simple criteria: win games and championships.

                            Other note:

I think the attempt to name All-Time teams for the AC & NC is a tough one. That being said, I too have some other feelings on some of the selections and omissions on other positions, but that is for another day. Hats off for the effort because it stimulates discussion like this.

Just like the weekly awards Vic posts, this is output by a utility. It's only based on regular season stats, nothing else.
