With the earlier announcement that Jeff and Sui are doing an All-IFL team, I thought it would only be fair for me to chime in.

The 2008 and 2009 seasons might be the Golden Era of veterans in the IFL as rumors fly regarding a new collective bargaining agreement called "The 2k7 Plan".

QB - Chris Chaplin (Salt Lake City)

As a 12 year veteran, Chris came into the 2008 season on a mission. After spending an entire season on the bench for Iowa City, Chris was traded not once, but twice in the offseason.

He came to the Stallions in a deal for the fan favorite, Nigel Booker. Not only did Chaplin outperform Booker, but he set a single season record for QB rating in the process. He threw for a career best 3449 yards, 35 TD's and his QB rating was 107.5.

He led the Stallions back into the playoffs with an 11-5 record after they fell hard in 2007 and missed the playoffs for the only time in franchise history.

RB - Allan Ho (Orlando)

The oldest back in the league plays in Orlando. Allan just finished his 13th year and is the career record holder for rushing TD's with 74 and he is 5th in rushing yardage at 7,962.

Allan has proven he is a durable back throughout the years and 2008 was no different. He got the rock 304 times this year and amassed 1192 yards with 11 TD's. He also had a career best 28 receptions for 239 yards and 3 TD's.


RB - Chris Jackson (Hartford)

Chris is in his 11th season now and was signed in the offseason after deciding to leave Cleveland where he only got the ball 24 total times in 2007. Jackson plays a key part in the Grizzlies two-headed attack that finished 2008 with the 10th best rushing total in the IFL.

Chris ended the year with 606 yards and 5 TD's. He also added 13 receptions for 160 yards and 2 TD's.

FB - Heath Leigh (Little Rock)

Heath gets the nod as our lead blocker in the backfield. He finished the season going 13/43 on KRB. He also has good hands coming out of the backfield where he had 41 receptions good for 284 yards.
