    1. First of all, congrats on the win this weekend. Has the JB Fogarty era officially started in Boston?

Thank you Vic. This season has certainly been a disappointing one. I know we have the talent to compete for a playoff spot in the AC which we displayed when we beat the Matadors and the Whales on the road. However, we also lost games to the Heroes and Mules.

Since we pretty much out of the playoff race, we are going to hand the reigns over to J.B. Fogarty. The offense has responded to his leadership and we would like him to develop for a possible starting spot next year.

Sooner or later the Dragons will find a starting QB who will make us an instant force in the AC.

    2. The Dragons have a lot of good talent on defense. Are you trying to build a dominant defense first, then look at offensive talent in the upcoming years.

The defense is already there. I just need to make sure we are able to hang onto these guys as they will probably command some big contracts in the offseason. Our next goal is to solidify our O-Line and find a stud QB or RB.

    3. I've always been a Ruben Sante fan, as you know. What happened in Boston that made you decide that he wasn't the right fit.
I don't believe he is the type of player that can win games for a team that is low on talent. Sure he has Newark headed towards the post season, but I think that is more of a compliment to Crespo than Sante. In Boston, we needed Sante to throw 25-30 times a game since we were usually behind while in Newark he already has 6 games in which he threw under 20 passes. He was also very turnover prone which a guy can not be on a struggling team and when he did try to bring us back it usually ended in a forced throw that was intercepted

    4. In order for your team to make the playoffs, you need to start winning in your division. How will you close the gap with both Norfolk and Hartford?

I don't think the gap is that big. Our record does not indicate how good we actually are. This season we lost to Norfolk by 3 and Hartford by 7 both on the road. Last season we lost 3 of the 4 games by a TD or less. So with that said, I know we can compete with them already. We just need to make the plays in the second half of games when we play these teams at home in the upcoming weeks.

    5. Besides the players in Boston, what team's or players do you like to watch on Sunday's?

I always look to see what Norfolk and Hartford are doing because I have to know what is going on with my direct competition. I enjoy watching the "big games" of the week and players like Crespo and J.C. much like everybody else.
