Wow, no mention of our 31st finish in turnover margin (-15) last year? :?

I really think we're ready to compete for the wild card this year, we finished 8th in yards per carry last year (5th in total yards rushing), we were 6th in rushing yards per carry on defense (18th in total yards rushing), 12th in passing yards per attempt (3rd in total passing defense), 7th in third down conversion rate, etc. I think we have a team to compete with provided we cut down on the turnovers which I think were a fluke.

Also, we performed this well on defense with Cleeland only playing 4 games last year. Plus, all we did was add immensely to our two big trouble spots, CB and WR. I think we'll have a good year.

      Damn tabloid propaganda! :P

In the defensive backfield they need Major Paredes to finally decide if he wants to commit to pass coverage or just attack the ballcarrier, as his INTs have been up and down each season his whole career.
Umm, what does this mean. Not to be a jerk here but isn't that elementary analysis.

                  Likewise!

We have some excellent media in this league. Even if they think VKW sucks. I love that part the most, actually.

Reno's hat makes me miss Nevada. It's almost the same as the real Wolfpack.

Not that should have anything to do with anything or matter to anyone.

                          It's a nice hat.

Great writeups. I'm wasting time at work paging through them!

We released Neil Seng, btw. We're going to break in some new ILBs that can play (or try to play) a 3-4. Want to take advantage of Howard (another new face from Reno - speaking of Reno) and Beaton's natural positions this season instead of squeezing them into a 4-3. Devore (our biggest loss - retirement) is gone so we're going to make the jump a season sooner than I'd intended. Howard will most likely be platooning with Willette, who can be very powerful in the pass rush, at nose.

Seems like we're getting beaten up. My kicking game wasn't that bad last year. My Punter was ranked 5th in punting average, and my kicker had an off year.

My run defense, despite the high ypc, still held teams below the league average ranking 14th in the league.
