Baby Burgos To Whales: Now Or Never

Sources close to Killer Whale Tight End Romeo Burgos indicate that the excitable reciever his nervous about his future in Vancouver. In the last year of his contract, he's made some rumblings about wanting an extension or may hold out if slapped with a franchise tag next season. "He's seeing what Connell and Perez were offered and thinks he's due his slice of the pie, too," says a person close to the younger brother of Killer Whale Safety Richard Burgos, who has known him for a long time and is in daily contact with him, and is also close with his parents and sister, but wishes to remain unnamed, "Cortez [VKW WR Means] isn't ready to start the season and the rookie [WR Patrick Harding] has a ways to go before he can play at that level, so we know my br... Romeo... has got to be a go to guy for [QB Dennis] Colella this season. He should get payed accordingly." The anonymous source also indicated that the massive pass catcher is making plans to buy his parents a new house on Victoria Island so they can be close to the brothers, "Ma... I mean... Mrs. Burgos is ou... his biggest fan and he's excited to get to see him play at home games."

    Casey To Canada: You Suck

Killer Whale Linebacker Casey Mueller outraged a group of health care advocates in Seattle recently after a televised rant about his injury treatment under Canada's National Health system. "It's like I have to spell it out for them. Anterior... A. N. T. E. R. I. O. R... I mean really. What's up with these guys? Don't hockey players hurt their ACLs?" In a cost cutting measure, the Whales training staff and management have decided to avail themselves of the Canadian Health Plan, and early events are already showing some less than positive results. "Good thing I've got a solid career as a local car dealership spokesman back in Carolina or I'd be more worried about feeding my family. I might never play football again!" Canadian Health officials refused comment. So did most Canadians.

    Reed To Stocks: Eat Me

Sources close to Vancouver Offensive Line Coach Grunt Mack indicate that a minor feud is brewing between tackle Stan Reed and veteran guard Daniel Stocks. The root of the problem seems to be Reed's refusal to salute the former Army standout at the beginning and end of each practice. "It's pretty unusual. Stocks is a strange guy, but most of the younger players really look up to him. But when he starts talking about his time in 'Nam... the guys just kind of laugh behind his back. Except Mule Borders. He's pretty gullible. But Reed wants no part of that, apparently, and the two haven't been on speaking terms since training camp."

The Whale Watch is available monthy to all Vancouver Killer Whale fans for an annual subscription of 59.99. Not available in Alameda County, California, and portions of Utah and Nevada.

I wish I had more time to do write ups. So, I'll stick with a little slapstick and shtick instead of in depth analysis.
