    Pre Season Week 3
    ----------------------------
Oakland Owls 34 St. Louis Cardinals 24

2 first quarter Owls touchdowns staked them to a 14-0 lead that they carried into a 17-3 halftime advantage.
An inspired 3rd quarter from the 2nd team offense tied the game up but Oakland controlled the 4th quarter with 17 straight points until a very late Cardinal TD made the final score 34-24.

Oakland ran the bowl 42 times for an impressive 276 yards on the Cardinals defense.

    Studs & Duds
    ------------------------------

    RB Erik Farrell:
Erik had 16 carries for 66 yards in a nice little performance. But he also fumbled the ball twice.

    QB Thurman Porter:
Thurman has another impressive pre season outing, going 17-22 for 180 yards and 2 TD's.

    WR Timothy Cobb:
Tim had 5 catches today but only averaged 5.2 yards a reception. Still, wtih Hector McCalls injury this is the type of performance Timothy needed as he now has a shot a roster spot.

    TE Conrad Beyer:
Conrad caught all 4 passes thrown his way today.

    Run Defense:
Oakland ran the ball all day on us, gaining 276 yards against the B team defense. Burt Quinn and Raymond Guffey struggled mightily and our top 3 tacklers were in the secondary, not good.

    CB Terry Sawyer:
Terry had all 4 passes thrown his way completed, he looked underwhelming.

    Penalties:
    9 more penalties.

    Injuries
    -----------------------

    DE Albert Covington:
Albert suffered a hyperextended elbow in an injury that looked more severe than it was. He will miss week 5 of pre season but should be good to go in week 1.

    WR Hector McCall:
Hector suffered a pulled calf muscle and the initial diagnosis is about a month on the shelf. This is not pleasing to us and we hope that he can maybe get back in time for week 2.

    WLB Corey Poole:
Corey has a groin pull and will sit out week 5 with an aim to be ready to go in week 1.

    CB Tito Anderson:
Tito has a mild ankle sprain and will sit out the final pre season game but should be good to go in week 1.

    P Leigh McCarthy:
Leigh is still rehabbing his seperated shoulder and is aiming for a return in week 1 of the regular season.

    WR Marshall Talley:
Marshalls broken nose is coming along nicely, he'll likely sit in week 5 in preperation for week 1.

    G Neel Alexander:
A sprained thumb will force Neel out of the final pre season game but he should be good to go for week 1.

    FS Shaun Underhill:
Shauns sprained ankle should keep him out of the final pre season game.

    FS Marhsall Holbert:
A strained deltoid muscle will keep Marshall out of the final pre season game and likely the first 1 or 2 weeks of the regular season.

    WLB Calvin Collier:
Calvins hamstring strain continues to give him problems and he will miss the final pre season game.
    I luv British womenz.

Holy shit, 'Cane. That's a nasty injury list. Luckily they're all short term.

I figured you wouldn't mention anything about ex-Cardinals RB Foreman's individual performance.

My grandma could run behind The Greatest Center In World History. No news there.
