Oakland general manager Jave has never been shy about spending the cash on quality players, and today history was made. Oakland just resigned "All Universe" reciever Kurt Bice for a staggering 70.5 million dollar contract over the next 6 years, making Bice the highest paid reciever in the IFL. We were able to contact Jave by phone today to get his reaction;
" Are you kidding? This was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made. Kurt is the total package. Reciever, blocker, team leader..........he does it all. He is, without a dought, THE best reciever in the league. No questions asked, hands down! Kurt and I sat down before we signed him and I asked him what he wanted from Oakland. He said, "lock me up long term, pay me what I am worth, and next year, we will be wearing Championship rings." Now thats what I expect from every player on this team. Trust me, Hamilton to Bice will go down in the history of the IFL as THE BEST QB-Reciever combo to ever play the game."
